Workday Currently Unavailable

1PM Update from Workday:

Service has been restored for all Data Centers as of 12:38 PM PT. Customers are now able to login and use the tenant as expected. We will continue to monitor this situation over the next 24 hours. This issue was not related to the R1 Feature Release.

12:30PM Update from Workday:

We’re aware of an issue where a subset of customers are unable to log into Workday. We are currently investigating the issue and will provide another update in 30 minutes.

11:57PM Original notification from Workday:

“Please be advised that beginning at approximately 11:20 AM PT, we began experiencing performance issues in all WD1, WD2, WD3, and WD5 Data Centers. We appreciate your patience as we actively work to identify the root cause and implement a solution. We will provide another update by 12:30 PM PT.”

Production Tenants Unavailable – WD5 Data Center

We continue actively monitoring tenant services to ensure ongoing stability.

Original 10/1/2024 Alert:
We are currently experiencing an unplanned service interruption to Workday Production tenants in our WD5 Data Center. We are actively working to resolve this issue.

FY2025 Academy Beginning Balances Impacting Reporting

Resolved at 4:50PM on 9/16

As of Friday September 13, 2024, the net position ledger (30100) is not correctly carrying forward FY2024 closing balances into FY2025. This results in missing and/or incorrect FY2025 beginning balances for all Academy units.

This issue does not affect UW Medicine.

Prior to Friday, September 13, 2024 the beginning net position balances reflected in Workday reports for FY2025 were correct.

FPB and UW-IT are working with Workday to resolve this issue quickly. An anticipated resolution timeline will be provided as soon as it is available.
